Hmmm... Lilith is in my 5th in Sag. I would say that humor has always been my defense when I feel wounded. Interestingly enough, Lilith is sextile my Chiron. Lilith is also Trine Jupiter, Pluto, and Uranus. I can't say as I hide my personal philosophies, however. If anything, I "over share"..lol.

I am currently doing much research on Lilith. This article says it is about the Dark Moon Lilith, which is the hypothetical second, smaller moon of the Earth. Although some people claim to have seen it, it's existance is still quite 'hypothetical' (although from my perspective, that doesn't mean it can't be used astrologically ~ as the entire system of astrology is 'hypothetical' in the eyes of so-called modern science). The symbol of DM Lilith is a circle with a slash through it & it can be added on astro.com in their hypothetical points section #h13, I believe.

There are two, more commonly used Liliths ~ asteroid #1181 named Lilith & Black Moon Lilith, which is a mathematical point found using the Earth & Moon ~ the second center of the Moon's elliptical orbit around the Earth. The asteroid Lilith has a symbol that looks like a down turned hand with a fish-hook tail & the BM Lilith's symbol is a cresent moon over a cross. Many people are confused as to which <witch> Lilith is being discussed. The only physically confirmed object is the asteroid Lilith, but most people in discussing Lilith refer to the BM Lilith, whose symbol can be found on astro.com.

All three Liliths are interconnected in their meanings & I have found, especially at the start, the interpretations through the signs can be used interchangeably (maybe because all three of my Liliths fall into Virgo, but that is not true for everyone), but eventually one will want to tease them apart. This is further complicated by the fact that both the BM Lilith & DM Lilith have true & mean values & sometimes one will run across interpretations for the fixed star Agol, which is also sometimes referred to as Lilith (or Medusa's Eye/Hand).

Here are a few syntheses I have found:

The cycle of our Lilith experience is initiated by the asteroid Lilith, developed by the Dark Moon Lilith & completed by the Black Moon Lilith.

Essentially Tantric ~ Lilith inher several forms transforms subjective to spiritual. Her impersonal energy opens transparent areas of the mind, not clouded by the weight of collective judgement or limitations of ego identity. The 3 aspects vibrate at different frequencies, in chords & octaves, opening channels to clear & spiritualize the emotional body.

At this point in history, with the divine feminine re-emerging fully into our consciousness, I find the character of Lilith very compelling & highly useful. She is helpful in 'shadow work', working to re-integrate our darker parts; reconnect & feel, but then transend our emotional selves; and re-illuminate the 'original' bridge to our deeper, spiritual beings.

She goes by MANY names. Here are a few I have come across:

The hand (maiden) of Innana
The mirror-opposite of Innana
The maid of desolation (who dances in the ruins of cities)
Little girl left out

Just as many have 'feared' the 'End Times' while simultaneously lamenting the state of the world today, so Lilith has been feared & demonized, mostly by those who subscribe to a patriarchal system, that is now trapped in overwhelming warfare, abuse & exploitation. I do not fear the ending of the dominance of that system, nor the 'coming' of Lilith. I welcome her & dance joyfully with her in the ruins of the old-style cities.

Here are a few other gifts she brings with her:

Lilith inhabits the astral or psychic plane ~ the middle region round the spine which connects the snake (kundalini) & the bird (consciousness).

The energies of destruction can be transmuted & taken up into the creative destructuring of the old civilization ~ already outgrown.

Lilith challenges both women & men to connect with their instictive passion for life. For this natural force denied, unfulfilled, caged or exiled turns destructive.

Many authors, noting the way that Lilith has been demonized throughout written history, attempt to 'whitewash' her ~ wanting to ignore her darker aspects, but that strategy falls flat also. While not the jealous & completely evil baby-killer she has been made out to be, Lilith does demand certain prices for her gifts. In my estimation though, many people at this point, men & women alike, have already paid her prices, in terms of society's exile, the death of their ego/pride, abandonment, and enduring punishment for standing up for themselves & not submitting to the dominant forces at play in the world today. Thise who have not paid yet, will & Lilith will not be gentle in exacting her price ~ thus the 'fear' & fear mongering on the part of those who dred the End Times.

LILITH IN THE 1st HOUSE lets you always fight impulsively and initiatively for liberalism and fairness. You have ingenuity and foam over with energy in relations, partnerships and public-referred interests. With sexual adventures you can get enticed easily and if someone offers a leading role to you, you take it without thinking.
