What's your favorite Tarot Deck?

For years I really liked the Osho Zen Transcendental cards; it really resonated with me, the artwork, the Zen,
I also really liked that you didn't read them in reversals and for the most part all the cards are positive or uplifting,
but now I'm looking for one perhaps a little more esoteric, more great artwork, and just as uplifting.

Any Ideas?

What's your favorite Deck and why?

here's a look at a few different types that www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/

I am of the Virgo persuasion and love Crowley's Thoth deck. It is just dark enough for me to find the right amount of light. When folks come to me looking for resolutions and or solutions this deck always assists in getting down to the real issue at hand. Many times it seems as if the deck is giving "weird" information but usually he person's subconscious is exposed. Isn't that what we look to Tarot to do for us, expose us so we can make better decisions? The plethora of esoteric symbols in each card is overwhelming at times. The amount of information the deck can offer is unnerving.

When I am dealing with folks who don't trust or like Crowley for any number of reasons, I use either the Egyptian Tarot or the Rider Waite.

    I like this thread.

    Peace. Love and Light,

OMG I so LOVE the Osho Zen cards! Not only that but I really dig OSHO in general...he has written some extraordinary books and the way he writes makes soooo much sense!
I also really like the Robin Wood deck which was my first deck and will never get rid of it!

As a professional tarot reader, I have so many decks, I don't know if I could shake a stick at them all! Quest, Osho Zen, Universal, an Egyptian one, two dragon ones, not to count all of the oracle decks like the Fairy Ring and Froud's Faerie Oracle, as well as a few druidic-type oracle decks too - AUGH! However, the deck I continue to go back to time and time again: Sacred Circle Tarot. I like the pre-Christian feel of it, love the artwork, and it totally speaks to me! Recently, I picked up the Druid Tarot (I like Will Worthington's art and style very much) and I find I really resonate with this deck too. As a side note, I really like the Sacred Geometry Oracle by John Michael Greer - that deck gives me awesome answers, even if you are "too close" to the question - it leaves no wiggle room in my experience - I only use it if something is really important though, to keep the intensity there :-)

My favorite is the Inner Child Cards by Isha Lerner & Nark Lerner. www.ishalerner.com/ .
I like that you don't read them in reversal and they speak to the One Heart .
If you are looking for something more esoteric, I highly recomend the book, Meditations on the Tarot. www.amazon.com/Meditation.../1852302224
It is an amazing book and delves into the deep acranum of the Tarot. A masterful work which utilises the Major Arcana of the Tarot as tools to enter spiritual dimensions. It is a through analysis by a learned Catholic Priest (?) and Tarot Master. ( Anonymous) The vatican has an amazing esoteric library that I would love to have access to. I sent it to my Wiccan friends back East and they loved it.

Well, I've got the Thoth. I think the Rider-Waite is an essential though I don't have one currently, the artwork is not so great, that is whay I made my own up. I once say one with beautiful cat artwork, the Daughters of the Moon sounds like a goodie. I have the book, but not the cards, of the Motherpeace, but I felt that the writers do not challenge certain things enough or in the right way.
